LINXFLOAT

Dissolved air flotation

LinxFloat removes suspended solids, fats, oils, grease, and chemically conditioned floc by lifting them to the surface for controlled skimming.

WHAT IT DOES

The process inside the equipment.

LinxFloat is the primary flotation family for wastewater that contains light solids, emulsified oil, grease, or precipitated material that does not settle efficiently. Upstream chemistry destabilizes the contaminants and builds a separable floc.

A pressurized recycle stream releases fine air bubbles into the influent. Those bubbles attach to the conditioned solids and carry them to the surface, where a mechanical skimmer removes the floated sludge while clarified water exits below.

HOW IT WORKS

A controlled path from influent to result.

01

Condition

Coagulant, pH adjustment, and polymer are selected to destabilize contaminants and build a strong floc.

02

Release air

The recycle system dissolves air under pressure and releases fine bubbles into the incoming water.

03

Float + separate

Bubbles lift the conditioned solids while clarified water moves through the lower section of the vessel.

04

Skim + transfer

Surface sludge is mechanically removed and sent to storage, thickening, or LinxPress dewatering.

EQUIPMENT CAPABILITIES

Built around the duty—not a fixed catalog box.

AVAILABLE CONFIGURATIONS

A starting platform for application engineering.

Compact

25–300 GPMSmall-footprint skid with vertical whitewater loop and integrated polymer injection options.

Standard

500–2,000 GPMContinuous-duty platform with chain-and-flight skimming and application-sized recycle system.

Mobile

150–500 GPMTrailerized package for bypass, rental, pilot, startup, or temporary treatment.

Published ranges identify current Linx platform configurations. Final hydraulic capacity, materials, loading, retention, utility demand, and performance basis are established for the application.

BEST-FIT APPLICATIONS

Where LINXFLOAT earns its place.

CONFIGURE LINXFLOAT

Start with the water, duty, and operating result.

Send the available flow and laboratory data, treatment target, site constraints, utilities, schedule, and operating plan. Linx will turn those inputs into a buildable LINXFLOAT design basis and integrated equipment concept.
