LINXPOLISH

Filtration + final polishing

LinxPolish combines the final filtration, adsorption, oxidation, membrane, and disinfection steps required to reach a defined reuse or discharge target.

WHAT IT DOES

The process inside the equipment.

LinxPolish is a configurable family rather than one fixed machine. It can include multimedia pressure filters, bag filters, cartridge filters, activated media, membranes, ozone, advanced oxidation, and UV in the sequence required by the remaining contaminants.

Each stage is selected around influent quality, terminal limits, loading, run time, cleanability, waste generation, and operating cost. Multiple polishing technologies can be prefabricated as one skid or distributed through a larger treatment train.

HOW IT WORKS

A controlled path from influent to result.

01

Remove bulk carryover

Media or bag filtration captures remaining solids and protects finer downstream barriers.

02

Refine

Cartridge, membrane, or specialty media addresses smaller particles and dissolved targets.

03

Oxidize or disinfect

Ozone, AOP, or UV is applied where the water-quality objective requires it.

04

Monitor

Pressure, turbidity, flow, UV intensity, and water-quality instruments manage the polishing train.

EQUIPMENT CAPABILITIES

Built around the duty—not a fixed catalog box.

AVAILABLE CONFIGURATIONS

A starting platform for application engineering.

Media filtration

Application-sizedSingle or parallel pressure vessels with multimedia, activated media, or specialty media.

Bag + cartridge

Application-sizedCoarse-to-fine barrier filtration with differential-pressure monitoring and serviceable housings.

Advanced polishing

Application-sizedMembrane, ozone, AOP, adsorption, and UV combinations selected around the final target.

Published ranges identify current Linx platform configurations. Final hydraulic capacity, materials, loading, retention, utility demand, and performance basis are established for the application.

BEST-FIT APPLICATIONS

Where LINXPOLISH earns its place.

  • Reuse-water finishing
  • Final TSS and turbidity removal
  • Color, odor, and organic polishing
  • Membrane and UV protection
  • Trace-contaminant treatment trains
  • Controlled industrial discharge

DESIGN DATA REQUIRED

What Linx needs to size it.

  • Influent and target turbidity/TSS
  • Particle-size distribution
  • COD, TOC, color, and target organics
  • Hardness, metals, silica, and scaling potential
  • Disinfection or reuse standard
  • Backwash, reject, and spent-media handling

TREATMENT-TRAIN INTEGRATION

Designed as a family. Connected as a system.

UPSTREAM

LinxFloat, LinxSettle, LinxPure, LinxOx, or another primary treatment process.

CORE PROCESS

Media, bag, cartridge, membrane, adsorption, oxidation, and disinfection modules.

DOWNSTREAM

Reuse storage, compliant discharge, final sampling, or process-water return.

CONFIGURE LINXPOLISH

Start with the water, duty, and operating result.

Send the available flow and laboratory data, treatment target, site constraints, utilities, schedule, and operating plan. Linx will turn those inputs into a buildable LINXPOLISH design basis and integrated equipment concept.
