LINX EQUIPMENT FAMILY 03

LINXREACT

Reaction + flocculation

LinxReact supplies the controlled mixing, retention, chemistry, and instrumentation needed to make contaminants separable before clarification or flotation.

Modular rapid-mix, reaction, coagulation, and flocculation equipment package

WHAT IT DOES

The process inside the equipment.

Many treatment systems depend on chemistry before the separator can do its job. LinxReact organizes rapid mix, pH correction, oxidation or reduction, precipitation, coagulation, and flocculation into defined stages with the correct energy and retention time.

The family can be built as individual tanks, a common skid, an integrated basin, or a mobile package. Tank geometry, mixer selection, materials, injection points, sensors, and controls are matched to the reaction rather than copied from a standard drawing.

HOW IT WORKS

A controlled path from influent to result.

01

Disperse

Rapid mix distributes chemistry through the full flow before localized overdosing can occur.

02

React

Controlled pH, ORP, and retention allow the required chemical transformation to proceed.

03

Coagulate

Destabilized particles and emulsions begin combining into separable material.

04

Flocculate

Gentle mixing grows the solids to the size and strength required by the separator.

EQUIPMENT CAPABILITIES

Built around the duty—not a fixed catalog box.

AVAILABLE CONFIGURATIONS

A starting platform for application engineering.

Rapid mix

Application-sizedHigh-energy mixing for immediate dispersion of acid, caustic, coagulant, or oxidant.

Reaction

Application-sizedOne or more controlled-retention stages for pH adjustment, precipitation, oxidation, or reduction.

Flocculation

Application-sizedLower-energy mixing that develops durable floc ahead of LinxFloat or LinxSettle.

Published ranges identify current Linx platform configurations. Final hydraulic capacity, materials, loading, retention, utility demand, and performance basis are established for the application.

BEST-FIT APPLICATIONS

Where LINXREACT earns its place.

  • pH neutralization
  • Metals precipitation
  • Coagulation and emulsion breaking
  • Phosphorus removal
  • DAF and clarifier pretreatment
  • Oxidation or reduction reactions

DESIGN DATA REQUIRED

What Linx needs to size it.

  • Reaction objective and target chemistry
  • Flow, peaks, and batch or continuous operation
  • Chemical demand and treatability results
  • Required reaction and flocculation time
  • Mixer energy and shear sensitivity
  • Materials compatibility and containment needs

TREATMENT-TRAIN INTEGRATION

Designed as a family. Connected as a system.

UPSTREAM

Screening, equalization, transfer pumping, and incoming water characterization.

CORE PROCESS
